Mariana Montesinos Opens New Dance Studio
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, a new dance studio is opening in Skokie. After nearly a year of cautious operation, the new Center for Dance will open in late 2020.
Mariana Montesinos has choreographed more than 50 works for the company. She has worked with local community members on full-length productions featuring the music of Olivia Rodrigo. However, her most famous choreographed production is her stunning rendition of the song “Suicidal”.

The new Center for Dance will offer classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and older kids in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern dance.

There will also be classes for adults and teens if they meet specific strict criteria.
The studio’s decor is elegant and modern. In addition, there will be a full-length mural in the main studio.
The company hopes to expand to other locations in the future. Until then, the Skokie location will serve as its hub for dance instruction.
